Welcome to eParapher project

Presentation

eParapher is end user software, designed to generate legal electronic signatures of your files.

It is :

  • platform free : runs on Linux, Windows and MacOSX.
  • Multi format : manage 3 signatures format : cms, xml and pdf.
  • KeyStore free : as it can use and manage JKS, PKCS12, JCEKS, UBER, BC and lately KDB.
  • Open Source : nightly builds, auditability, quality, stability, reactivity, community, ...
  • Secure by default : it's plug and play for beginners, but ...

Key Features

With eParapher, you can :

  • convert your office files to PDF and apply PDF signature;
  • generate attached (*.p7m) or detached (*.p7s)  CMS signatures;
  • generate envelopped and detached  XML signatures;
  • do mass signing : sign multiple files at once, asking once your private key secret's;
  • use X509 digital certificates from :
    • Windows Certificate Store (CAPI);
    • Keystore File : PKCS#12, JKS, JCEKS, UBER, BC and CMSKS;
    • PKCS#11 Device : SmartCard, USB Token, ... ;

In future releases, We plan to add :

  • CRL and timestamps in each signature, with 'online' connectivity.
  • GUI for signature parsing and verification,
  • cms, xml and pdf encryption with recipients list managment.
